For my Product Development module, I produced a trend board, trend analysis and range plan developed for Whistles from the AW18/19 'The Thinker' edit derived from WGSN. This displays the process of trend translation into garments using up and coming ideations and trends displayed on a worldwide platform. The breakdown and deep approach of the trend allows the brand to remain competitive for the forthcoming season by using predictions. This specific trend is minimal with lots of focus on textures and block colouring to create a classic, opulent image.
I intend to enter the Product Development and Buying sector after graduation. After undertaking a year as a Product Developer, I have experience this first hand and come to the realisation I excel in this sector therefore want to pursue this.
